The user profile is a collection of settings and data that is stored on the computer and used by applications to store information about the user such as user name, display name, picture, account information, app data, etc.
Windows 10 corrupted user profile can result in a number of issues including:
- Users may have difficulty logging on to their work accounts if they have changed their displayed names and Picture (Display Name) in their user profile.
- Users may have difficulty finding what they are looking for in their User Pinned (Start), Taskbar (menu), Start menu, and its apps, or on the Desktop.
- Affected users will not see as much personalization and customization as available to users with an undamaged user profile.
